Arette Tequila: Authentic Taste of Jalisco
History and Heritage
Arette Tequila takes its name from the famous Olympic horse “Arete,” a symbol of strength and national pride. It is crafted at the El Llano distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, one of the oldest family-run distilleries in Mexico. Managed by the Orendain family, Arette remains committed to preserving traditional tequila-making methods while maintaining independence and authenticity.
Production and Craftsmanship
Arette Tequila is made exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave. The agave plants are harvested at peak maturity, slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. This artisanal process gives Arette its characteristic herbal, earthy, and peppery notes. Each expression reflects the craftsmanship of the Orendain family and the heritage of Jalisco.

Range of Expressions
- Arette Blanco: Crisp, herbal, with hints of citrus and pepper. Perfect for Margaritas and Palomas.
- Arette Reposado: Aged in oak barrels for a smooth balance of vanilla, caramel, and spice.
- Arette Añejo: Rich and complex, offering deeper notes of oak, chocolate, and roasted agave.
- Arette Gran Clase: Extra Añejo tequila, aged for years in oak, bottled in elegant decanters, and prized by collectors.

How to Enjoy Arette Tequila
Arette can be enjoyed neat in a clay copita, on the rocks, or as the foundation of classic cocktails. The blanco shines in refreshing Margaritas and Palomas, while the reposado and añejo bring depth to Tequila Old Fashioned and Manhattan-style drinks.
